How to Create the Ultimate Canapé Party….

So we decided to invite a few people over for lunch, by We I mean me and Afsha, by few people I mean my friends and her friends, and when I say lunch I mean…………..its time for a …..partaaaaaay! because that what we do best!

We have a problem, me and Afsha that is, a really big problem, not a bad problem…. well not for the people we invite anyway, but for us it usually ends up being a hair tearing, ideas all over the board, running around and stressing each other all through the night, and waking up at silly o clock to entertain our loved ones. And…. we wouldn’t want it any other way!!!

So we decided to invite our select few for lunch, and we wanted to do something a bit different, a bit niche, a bit glamorous, a bit memorable….. and we ended up with this:

Welcome to our Canape Party.

A What party? …….I heard you! A Canape Party, because what could be more niche than this?

We decided on Canapes only, because lets face it, us women we love picking on food, we love trialling, and we love pretty looking food and we love……. a photo opportunity, and I do think we ticked off all the boxes.

So what did we do and how did we create this?

Firstly we listed off a few canapes. We had to make sure that no one goes home empty stomached so our canapes consisted of some light canapes and some of the more heavier and filling canapes….

…………and drinks- we decided on Pina Coloda, I mean who is going to say not to a Pina Colada? Not me!

and now to make it Insta worthy:

Well here is our set up, we used a backdrop with white flowers. A backdrop always make anything look so much better and it gets people guessing whether your at home or out. we used a dining table covered with a white sheet and we went for the rustic look, so used crates, wooden logs, ivy and more floral decorations. We placed logs and trays according to the canapes we had, and just kept topping up as required throughout the day.

Now lets take a closer look at the Canapes:

Prawn Cocktail, drizzled with salt and red chilli flakes….just pick one up and pop it in your mouth…..

Mini Fish and Chips served with Tartar sauce in individual dessert bowls (don’t forget the lemon slice). Don’t they look a picture? It’s literally a bitesized amount….

Mini Gourmet burgers. These fit in the palm of your hand, They were the cutest. The burger and the bun were both home made. Contact Afsha for more.

Mini Pizza and Quiches. How adorable are these? Once again Contact Afsha for these.

How delighful do these nachos look in the cups with salsa. This was my favourite by far…

Our favourite! Bruschetta, and see if you can spot the springroll in the cup with the tangy chilli sauce?

Olive Tails- basically tomato, olives and feta cheese on a cocktail stick! Yum

and lastly the Pina Colada. We did a few in the pineapples for the photos, the rest were in wine glasses (it is hard work. Maybe for another blog post one day? hmmmm…… there is an idea)

And thats an extremely chuffed and tired us! and we had the best time.

Granola and Yoghurt just got Sexy!

With this whole lockdown thing, people are going a little crazy.

Initially we thought it’d be 3 months, so Dalgona and Banana loaf cakes were on the menu daily. Everyone started cooking and baking at home.

5 months into the Lockdown and no clear indication of improvements later, those Banana Loaf cakes are now happily sitting on the love handles, and Sheesh ( kebabs because I don’t swear) just got serious.

Now it’s time to stop the binge eating, pressing the ‘buy’ button on Amazon, and Friends re-run on netflix.

First thing to shape up…..and Breakfast!

We all know yoghurt is good for you, with the diet being all over the place, yoghurt can help produce vitamin B in the bowels, and promotes a healthy gut to fight off infections….. It sounds all great but blah blah…. I just can’t do yoghurt…. By itself.

So I was looking around for how to create something with yoghurt…. But everything seemed so hard, so long to make and so not appetizing. With the rise of social media and Instagram, food not only has to be eaten with the mouth, but also the eyes…

Also, I feel like I’m in the kitchen all day everyday. I don’t think I have cooked this much in my 37 years of life as I have in these last 5 months and I really don’t want to be faffing around in the kitchen early morning. I wanted something quick and easy.

And ta-dah….. Since when did Granola and Yoghurt become so sexy?

Here’s a quickie on how to make this. It’s so easy… I’m thinking breakfast, lunch and dinner …… I just don’t want to cook. Ever again!!

You will need:

  • A very pretty and cool cup, transparent. ( You know I have a thing for cups right) this one is from Bodum.
  • Greek Yoghurt ( I chose strawberry)
  • Granola (just buy it!)
  • Raspberries and Blueberries or whatever fruit you fancy, Banana and Strawberries go really well too.

And here’s what you do with it:

Granola at the bottom….
Add Strawberry Yoghurt….
Add few fruits….

And ta- dah…. Told you it’s easy least lemon squeezy……and picture perfect too and actually really tasty!

Give it a go and take loads of pictures whilst your at it… Just like I did…

Gooey Chocolate Brownies….

Ok, so I can’t take full credit for this…. At all…. Firstly my friend Banu whom I harassed for the recipe (I have changed a few bits and pieces as we bakers do, but the gist of it is still there) and secondly Perfect Bakes– who is the most coolest baker in the whole planet…. She kept me drooling all Ramadhan for her brownies… In the end I had to try it for myself….. I have got to admit wholeheartedly that hers are 200% more preetier then mine though! I am in awe of her bakes! She’s awesome. Check out her bakes here.

I was racking my brains this year. For Eid how could I possibly just not do anything? … Initially the plan was to do nothing, finally free of the baking empire, this was my first Ramadhan baking free, and then the withdrawal symptoms came in….

But I didn’t want to bake a cake, or biscuits ever again… (I’m still not over it) something psychologically switched off inside me. I can’t bear the thought off it…

But Perfectbakes brownies called me, I Evan messaged her to place a order, but unfortunately got to her too late….. So I looked around and around, but nothing seemed as good as this…..

I weighed up the odds, it’s not a cake or a biscuit, its a brownie, I can do it…. Right? I had to mentally prepare myself, and I’m so glad I did because this was the result…

Ok, ok so I know if you don’t look at perfect bakes pictures I did a good job! (But she is the best!)

Right so I’m coming to it, how did I do it? Well here goes:

You will need: (a lot of stuff)

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 cups brown suger
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 and 1/4 cup plain flour

Wet Ingreidents

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 50 grams milk chocolate melted

Fun stuff (this part is entirely up to you)

  • Chocolate chunks
  • Marshmallows
  • Lotus biscuits/oreo biscuits
  • Skittles
  • Nuts
  • Macrons
  • (Generally anything you feel like dumping into your brownie!)

And heres how to do it:

Melt the chocolate in a pan on low heat (or microwave if easier)

Combine all the dry ingredients together

Add all the wet ingredients in that includes the melted chocolate

and whisk for only 2-3 minutes (Do not over whisk)

And thats all, really it really is- thats your brownie recipe! I could do this daily!

Right so to make it look as preety as mine….. pour your mixture into a 9×9 inch tin (dont forget the baking sheet)

Chuck in your fun stuff, make sure you put in chunks of chocolate (they help in keeping your brownie gooey)

and put into pre heated oven at 180degree celsius for 30 mins

you will get this

Allow to cool for 10 minutes and then mark where you want to cut your brownie, add the extra’s on top. Whilst the brownie is still hot it should melt into place. I have put all the extras around the edges so that I can put my topper in the middle….

I bought the topper off ebay- It was for eid, but you can buy toppers that say happy birthday or mothers day …. or anything really…. you can evan get them personalised….

And put it all into a preety box. Perfect for yourself and perfect to give as a Eid Mithai…..

And look at that, the most moist, gooey brownie ever! Yum!

Graze Boxes

The month of giving is here. In Ramadhan I like to give friends and family a little treat to break their fasts with. It’s actually a traditional among all of us. So this month as well as giving we are constantly receiving.

The reason why we give in this month is because:

Whoever gives iftaar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.”

Al Tirmidhi *iftaar meaning food for breaking fast

So basically if someone breaks their fast with food that I have given I get the reward of their fast aswell!! I mean bonus! That’s actually the easiest way to reap rewards in this month.

Fasting takes place between sunrise and sunset which in the UK is 18 hours. As you can appreciate when we eat although we are hungry our stomachs have now shrunk. But the cravings throughout the day … Oh my….

I decided to do graze boxes, firstly because I saw a box and wanted one. And secondly I saw it as a perfect treat, with our stomach being small- this light treat will be perfect to break our fast and….. Well graze on….

I mean just look at that and drool…. I’m fasting right now although had it just the other day I want it again.

Alot of people look at this and think ” I can’t do this” but seriously people you can. It’s not hard at all….. The buying part is harder than doing the boxes ( especially in this climate where there are queues to get into the shops, and once you do get in, half the stuff is already gone)

Well firstly the boxes, I had endless amount of people ask me about the boxes I used. I bought mine from here.

I use this company alot for my boxes. They are quality and free delivery plus it’s next day. How can you go wrong?

What to put in your graze box: the list is endless:

I used little dessert cups and filled them with houmous and cheese n chives, and just put things together. The colours really make the box…. I did want a fig or passion or kiwi fruit… But shopping is so difficult with the social distancing, and I just gave up. The beauty with these boxes….. You can buy everything, the only thing left for you to do is chop and present.

I’ll ask you again “just how beautiful do these look?”…. Running into the kitchen now to see what I have left over so I can make another box.

Chocolate Banana Croissant French Toast

So many delicious words in one recipe! Its the month of Ramadhan, we are in lockdown, we are fasting, we are stuck at home. I really shouldnt be talking about food but…… I mean if I dont talk about food, what other topic is their?

Am I finding Ramadhan hard- in all honesty No, but everyone craves, I crave evan after I’ve eaten, so if you havent eaten, I dont need to tell you what the cravings are like…..

Dalgona Coffee was a hit, Rose Dalgona hit us one better, everyones competing with each other over french toast… and now I give you the ‘Chocolate Banana Croissant French Toast’…. it sounds like all of the above rolled into one. No?

And here it is:

Is it good? Oh Damn Good. We have it for Sehri, (meal before sunrise) so if you follow me on instagram youll find it under ‘Sehri Diaries’. If you dont follow me.. what are you waiting for? its just here.

You will need:

  • Croissants 3/4
  • Bananas 2 chopped
  • Nutella
  • Milk 2 tablespoon
  • 2 Eggs
  • A Dollop of Butter
  • A Dollop of Ghee
  • Handful of Suger
  • Half a teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • Freshcream – I use the Squirty one
  • Strawberries (if desired)
  • Icecream (if desired)

And heres what to do with it:

Chop up the bananas and caremelise in frying pan on low heat with ghee and suger.

Cut the croissants in half, spread a dollop (I like this word) of nutella inside and add in the caremalised banana (you can add strawberries in this too)

Make your egg and milk mixture, by whisking milk, egg, cinnamon and a little suger

Dip your filled croissant into the mixture and fry on low heat in ‘dollop’ of butter. And once fried, put suger all over

And serve with cream on the side, or evan icecream, and decorate with remainder banana or strawberries.

……Did Someone Say Rose Dalgona?….

Well I think we have all figured out by now that Dalgona coffee and banana bread are sponsoring the Quarantine.

I got my Dalgona game on quite a few times- no that’s a lie- the boy got his Dalgona game on quite a few times. I just took the pictures. He loves his coffee and tik tok is big on it at the moment, so he’s forever making it…

But then I saw the Rose Dalgona… And I knew that was right up my street especially because it’s Ramadhan, and what is ramadhan without Rose Falooda?

And what a preety picture it makes too!

It’s a quickie so here goes- You will need

  • Rose Syrup
  • Freshcream
  • Milk
  • Ice
  • Vanilla or Rose Ice-cream
  • Rose petals

And heres what you do with it:

Use the freshcream and rose syrup as a 2:1 ratio and whisk until frothy

In a glass add in half cup of milk

Add in ice cubes ( I’ve been told that if you make rose icecubes it tastes better- I haven’t got have a ice cube holder (is that what you call it) but it sounds lush.. I could pop that into my mouth)

Add in your dollops of icecream

Top with the freshcream and rose mixture, and add a few rose petals…. And Voila what a preety picture

Please note after you have taken a photo stir it all in, otherwise you will be drinking cold milk!

So what did I think of it…. Oh it makes the preetiest of pictures, but I’ve conquered it. Its ticked off on my quarantine to do list✅ ….. it’s basically rose Falooda with the extra effort….. Next the dreaded banana bread…. Maybe I should wait untill someone comes up with a better twist to it? What do you think?

Lets Talk Hot Drinks…. Because what better way to beat the Covid19

Every second watsapp message I get is about how warm drinks- hot drinks can kill the virus….. ahhhh if only it was that simple people!? come on lets be realistic here, we cant be having a worldwide pandemic with over 100, 000 people dead, if the cure was hot drinks.

Mama Bear rings me everyday and asks if I have had lemon water, if ive had Vitamin C tablet, if im making turmeric milk… is this an indian culture thing? Im not so sure? maybe you can tell me. Are you all going through the same thing?

But in all honesty- what wrong can a warm drink do? I love all things Tea and if a warm drink can give people hope, gives them a bit of sunshine, acts as a preventive measure then at the end of the day whether it works or not- its soothing and also make you mentally fit- whats wrong with that? Go make yourself a warm drink.

So why is there a craze for this ‘Warm Drink’ and where is it coming from;

Here comes the science bit. (Say it like the Loreal advert). Concentrate (*wink seductively*)


We know that the virus hits the lungs and sits in the sinus area, hence the dry cough and breathing difficulties. We also know for the breathing difficulties its straight to the hospital and air ventilators (which are very scarce due to amount of people needing them)- So the hot drinks are put into place so that we can keep the air passages clear and hopefully avoid the whole hospitalisation issue.

Usually the signs that coronavirus has hit are after 3-4 days, and it takes hold of the throat and sinus area which leads to the dry cough. The coolest part of body is the sinus area therefore it sits there and then aims to get into your lungs. This is actually the hardest part as this affects the breathing of a person- hence the gasping of air and need for ventilators.

We know that the virus dies in heat, so the best thing to do is to keep the throat and sinus area warm and hydrated and that is by having loads of warm fluids. (Another thing that may be helpful is nasal spray- when you dose yourself with inhaler- within a second you will feel your passages open up. Could be worth considering)

So the whole ‘Warm Fluids can kill the virus‘ may not be true but it can help in the symptoms and the easing of the symptoms within you. As with a normal flu we clear our throat with warm drinks- here the same method can be used- to stop the irratation and also ease the breathing.

Lets go through a couple of drinks as advised by mama bear and quite a few practitioners aswell (who would have thought that doctors would be telling us to go back to natural remedies?!)

Vitamin C

Firstly I just need to advise that almost everyone that is anyone is advising of Vitamin C! so get making those Fresh Orange Juices- we all have the time for it now! or if it helps then the soluble Vitamin C tablets are really good. You should be able to get them at your pharmacies.

Golden Chaii

I went into Costa Coffee once and they had a new hot drink called ‘The Golden Chaii’ – They had me at Golden!! I needed that thing…..I wanted that thing…. I needed a picture of the thing!….. and what did it turn out to be? For all my fellow indians it has ‘haider kheer’- For those that dont know ‘The Golden Chaii’ from Costa is what we have at home- and mama bear makes it in a pot when we are ill- Its a warm milky drink we have when we are sick. i.e. ‘Sick Drink’. …..’Golden Chaii’ does sound better though- but ill not be having that at Costa again. Mama makes it better! It basically is boiled milk with turmeric and honey. (add a dash of saffron if you have at home- but not necessary- makes a nicer picture) And it is so good and relieving…. (when you are ill, not when your out shopping!)

Golden Chaii Alternative

Fresh Lemon for its acidity is another thing we keep on hearing about. I make the hubby a glass of warm water with fresh lemon inside- which they enjoy- but if you are liking your golden chaii- add fresh lemon into there, add a few of the peels too! and some ground ginger. It makes for a very interesting and refreshing drink!

Lemsip Max Strength

If you do see these around whilst shopping- pick up a box or two- maybe send my way too, as im struggling to find them!…. Ok so if you get a fever whilst the coughing is going on then that means the virus has kicked in. This is where the Lemsip Max Strength will really come in use. To this add honey, ginger and a little turmeric. Because the Lemsip Max Strenght has paracetamol in it- it should help bring down the temperature and the honey, ginger and turmeric should help in clearing up the throat.

Vicks Vaporub

When we were young we use to watch ZEE TV a lot at my aunts house and I always saw the advert for this….. the theme song always rings in my head, and I always say ‘Vicks vaporub’ with a slight indian accent….. try me next time, its funny, and I cant get away from it…. Ok so this isnt exactly a drink but it may help…… Use the Vicks into boiling hot water as a steam inhaler. The Steam will get into the lungs and will help warm up sinuses, and make your throat feel less itchy. If you also have Black seed oil- add this into the water aswell- just a few drops, Its soothing effects are really good!

Ginger Water

I dont have a fancy name for this- nor a story- this is pure CoronaVirus related and hopefully only for that, because its not nice. But if it helps then its got to be done! Peel Ginger and add to Boiling water. Allow the water to boil for 10 minutes and have it as a hot drink. Eating the pieces of ginger afterwards are really good too- if you can stomach it. ( This one is for me is ‘IF all else fails’).

Lemon Water

Ok so I have a little on this earlier but here is a bit more….cut up slices of lemon in boiling water. The hot water will turn it into an alkaline which is good for the ph balance and good for fighting off the virus. There are also further benefits of lemon which also regulates the bloodpressure, reduce blood clotting , and helps in regulating blood circulation. Which is all good- especially if your having anxiety or panic attacks.

Black Seed Oil

Have I gone through the benefits of this hidden little secret? The reason why I call it a secret is because- this little miracle in a bottle has so many benefits, yet it is widely ignored. Search it up on Google. It really is miracle.

So how to use it?

as I mentioned before- you can inhale it with steam. Or we add it to a hot coal and allow the steam to float around the house which is another form of inhalation

Also add it to your honey and lemon drinks and drink it, Or just add it to a spoonful of honey and lemon and swallow it- youll feel the soothing of the throat straight away.

And guys dont feel nervous to experiment- I add some mint to my drinks, to make them more digestable, and a mint tea bag, or anything you’d like, keep it warm and try and keep the main ingredients in- like honey, turmeric, ginger and lemon.

And lastly Exercising and eating healthy food whilst in quarantine is important because it strengthens the immune system, and to fight the virus you need a good and strong immune system. I know its hard and all to easy to grab the packet of crisps but do try to avoid it.

**Pease note I am not a doctor or practitioner and that this is not medication for the coronavirus- it will not cure the virus, it can just help with the breathing and keeping the air passages clear so that you dont struggle with breathing. If conditions do get worse. Seek help with 111.

Nutella Star Pastry

This pandemic has brought out the chefs in all of us…. I hate cooking, but all I want to do is…. Cook…. Because what else can I do? …… And by the way… I’m not too bad!! Really…. I’m not just saying it, the 3 men in my life are living proof…. I mean they are ‘living’- so there’s the proof!

The Nutella Star pastry ain’t exactly a great scientific experiment, but it looks like one, and I can assure you it tastes like one too, it’s heaven for sweet tooth’s like myself (although I really should be taking it easy, especially because all the dentist appointments are canceled at the moment.)

It’s also really quick and easy to make, and the kids will be over the moon, literally it’s chocolate overdose….make it with them, eat with them, stick them In the garden untill the hyperactivity wears off. The weather is on our side people! And just how glorious is the sun at the moment?

So here’s how it’s done:

You will need:

  • A Puff Pastry Block ( I have been advised the one I use has alcohol in it. Do check it before you buy it!)
  • Nutella
  • Greaseproof paper

Is that all? I hear you say…. Yes that’s all folks! That’s all you need to make this tasty treat, and here’s how it’s done:

Cut your pastry block into 4 equal divides

Roll out each divide and cut a circle round each one

Until you will have 4 round pastry circle thingimigigs!

Put the first one on baking sheet on oven tray, and add a full heaped tablespoon of Nutella and spread it round

Put the second round pastry on top and do the same untill all the layers are on…

Once all the layers are on, roll out the pastry whilst still on the tray- try not to let the chocolate out though, it’s just to get it ABIT bigger….

Get a small round cutter and do a indent in the middle on your pastry

Then cut into your pastry up to the indent at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock

Do the same again in between these dents

And one last time in-between the next dents. Remember not to go into the circle

Take the end of each pastry cut out and twist it twice and put it down. You will get the above once all done ( the Boi apparently took a boomerang- of this, yet he didn’t save it 🙄)

And put it in the oven at 170degrees for 15-20 minutes

And here’s the final look. Tada!! Ain’t it beaut? Not just to look at but to eat aswell.

And now I’ll be kicking the kids into the garden and locking them outside whilst I put ear plugs on…. It’s got to be done. We all need ABIT of peace. And I did give them a treat too!

Ah the joys. They are a wonderful bunch when they are far away.

Chocolate Cake in a Mug

Well the Lock down has us all going a bit doo lah lah, but me especially…. I was craving Chocolate Cake…… I don’t Evan like Cake.

Since September of last year- in the magnificent pre-corona days. I promised myself that I would never bake again, because I was done, I had baked 7 years non stop, not a day had gone past in those 7 years where I didn’t see flour, sugars and eggs and I was done……

but today I just…… wanted cake, not any cake, but it was chocolate cake, a deep rich moist chocolate cake, but………without wanting to go through the whole process of making a full on cake.

I am still not ready to switch on the oven, i’m still not mentally able to go near that thing. Its like a monster that sits in that corner…. its too damn big and heavy otherwise I would’ve lifted it up and chucked it away, but then i’ll also be left with a gaping hole in the middle of my kitchen…..first world struggles (seriously any distraction from corona is a blessing, no matter how big or small).

So how was I going to satisfy my craving? well easy, peasy (lemon squeezy) did i just say that? Yes. Yes. I did. (doo-lah-lah days officially here and we haven’t even been on lock down for a full week yet)

Introducing The Chocolate Cake in the Mug (Its really not my idea, I didn’t invent it, but I made it, so I will blog it) and by the way do this with the kids, its easy peasy lemon squeezy (*oh God, really? Again? really?*)

You will need:

  • 4 Tablespoon Self Raising Flour
  • 5 Tablespoon Caster Suger
  • 1 tablespoon Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 Tablespoon Milk
  • 3 Tablespoon Oil
  • Chocolate chips (as desired)
  • Mug
  • Microwave (no damn Oven! *does a twirl*)

And heres how its done:

Choose your favourite mug, (it has to be a big one, as this beast of a chocolate cake will rise).

Put all the dry ingredients into the mug and mix together. That’s the Flour, the suger and the cocoa powder.

Add the wet ones one at a time and mix throughly. I added the egg first, then the milk and lastly the oil. Mix this until you get a creamy consistency.

Add choc chips to your desired taste

Put the mug in the middle of the microwave, and set the temperature to high and set it to 1.30 mins (allow another 20 secs if needed)

and voila, your chocolate cake is ready,

And its yum, and moist (and if you dont do the 20 seconds its also gooey in the middle, I like batter …. Shhhh…. That’s a secret nobody should disclose.)

Hash Brown Egg Cups

Every weekend we have this routine: One day we have a full English breakfast and the other day we do an Indian breakfast. With the Indian breakfast the variety is huge, whether its lentils, vegetable curry, mince meat, or anything that goes with rotis really….. and with English breakfast …. Well it’s a matter of shall we have it with hash brown or waffles today?

It was becoming quite predictable and boring to be honest

A quick search onto Google found me this, was intrigued and decided to try it…. and it was an absolute treat…. And so quick and easy to make also. Bonus.

I had to share it:

Ingredients

(to make 12 hashbrown egg cups)

  • 200 grams Hash browns
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder/ paprika
  • Pepper
  • Half tomato diced
  • Half onion diced
  • Grated cheese

Method

  • Switch on oven at 200°
  • Allow the Hashbrown to defrost and then with a fork mash it all up
  • Melt the butter and add to the Hashbrown and mix
  • Divide the Hashbrown into 12 and place onto a 12 cup cupcake tray
  • Form the Hashbrown around the tray into cups
  • Put into the oven for 15 mins to cook
  • Whisk the eggs add in the milk, diced tomato and onions
  • Add the chilli and salt and pepper and whisk
  • Pour this mixture into each Hashbrown cup
  • Add cheese on top
  • Put it back into oven for a further 10 mins or untill all fluffy and cooked
  • Scoop out each cup and bite into!
  • Yum!

And there you have it. Hash brown and egg cups, and they are so tasty. The boi just grabs a handful and runs away with it, whilst the hubby likes it with beans and salad on the side
